The Gran Milonga in the beautiful venue the Auw Kerk is well known among many tangueros ans tangueras. DJ Marie Jeanne Sylvie (Gent, Belgium) will make sure that we’ll have a beautiful evening full of dancing! Marie Jeanne: ” I entered the Tango world in 1995 and started DJing in Ghent in 2002. Meanwhile I had the pleasure DJing on a regular basis at milongas in Antwerp, Bruges, Ghent and Lille (France). In Brussels my DJing is regularly combined with performances of orchestras like Sexteto Milonguero, Ciudad Baigon, Orquesta El Cachivache, Sexteto Roberto Siri, Alejandro Ziegler…. Lately I was invited to entertain festivals in Brussels  (2011-2016) Copenhagen (2014)  Encuentro de Bruges (2015) and Encuentro Boca Antwerp (2016). I mainly stick to the traditional tango repertoire from the late Twenties till the early Fifties. I mix romantic, rhythmic and lyrical tandas with surprising cortinas. As a DJ I am at the service of the dancers, being alert for their flow and energy level, making sure everybody leaves the milonga smiling.”
